Version 0.1 – interim, last updated 2026-05-27. This Unlimiwax Membership Agreement is being formally reviewed and may be updated before any new customer signs. Existing members will be notified of material changes. If you’ve signed up and have any question about your contract, email info@plguk.com.
This is the agreement that governs your Unlimiwax membership at Wax for Women. Read it before you sign the direct debit mandate.
1. Who you’re contracting with
You are contracting with Precision Life&Style Group Ltd (company number 17017520), registered in England and Wales with registered office at 6 Minshull Street, Piccadilly, Manchester, M1 3ED, trading as Wax for Women. In this agreement “we”, “us” and “our” refer to that company; “you” and “your” refer to you, the customer signing the membership.
2. What the membership is
The Wax for Women Unlimiwax membership is a 12-month subscription giving you a monthly waxing appointment at one of our studios. It is not a credit product. It is structured to fall inside the consumer-credit exemption in Article 60F(2) of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (Regulated Activities) Order 2001.
Your membership terms are:
- Term: 12 calendar months from the date your first payment is collected.
- Services included: the waxing services you selected at signup, delivered at one appointment per calendar month.
- Monthly amount: the figure you saw and agreed in the signup calculator and on the direct-debit mandate. This figure is fixed for the entire 12-month term.
- Number of payments: 12 equal monthly payments by Direct Debit through GoCardless.
- Total cost: 12 times the agreed monthly amount. No interest. No fees of any kind – no setup fee, no admin fee, no late fee, no default fee, no cancellation fee, no reactivation fee.
3. How you book your appointments
You book through Fresha. Appointments are subject to availability at your chosen studio. You can attend any Wax for Women studio offering the services in your membership – your membership moves with you between locations at no extra cost.
One appointment per calendar month. Your membership covers one appointment each month that includes every service you selected at signup. If you don’t book or attend an appointment in a given month, that month does not roll over – the membership is for 12 monthly appointments, not for a banked total of services.
All your services in one appointment. If your membership includes more than one service, you must receive them in a single appointment each month. You cannot ask to split your services across two or more visits. The only exception is where the practitioner decides, at their discretion, that splitting is necessary – for example because of skin recovery time, clinical reasons, or running out of appointment time. The practitioner’s call on this is final.
Missed appointments. If you miss a booked appointment without giving at least 24 hours’ notice, that month’s appointment counts as used. You do not get a refund or a replacement, and your membership continues unchanged.
4. Your 14-day right to cancel
You have a statutory right to cancel this membership within 14 days of the date you sign the direct debit mandate, with no penalty, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
To exercise this right, email us at info@plguk.com with the subject “Cancel Unlimiwax membership within 14 days” and include your full name and the email address you used to sign up.
If you cancel within the 14 days and have not yet attended any treatments under the membership, we refund any payment taken in full within 14 days of you telling us.
If you cancel within the 14 days but have already attended one or more treatments, you owe the standard one-off price for any treatments received (per our published price list at the time you signed up), and we will refund the difference between what you’ve paid and what you owe.
5. After the 14 days – cancellation, missed payments, your rights
After the 14-day cooling-off period ends, your membership is a fixed 12-month commitment.
You can stop attending at any time after day 14, but you remain liable for the remaining monthly instalments. We continue to collect them as scheduled. Services unused at the end of the 12 months do not roll over and do not have a cash value.
No cancellation fee. There is no extra charge for stopping early. The only money you owe is the remaining instalments on the contract you signed.
If a monthly payment fails, GoCardless retries the payment up to two more times in line with their standard retry schedule. We contact you to confirm the payment is on its way. There is no late fee, no admin charge, no penalty payment. If after retries the payment cannot be collected, we may suspend access to your remaining appointments and pursue the unpaid instalments as a civil debt.
Direct Debit Guarantee. Your Direct Debit payments are protected by the Direct Debit Guarantee. You can get a full and immediate refund from your bank for any payment that should not have been taken. The Guarantee gives you the right to challenge any payment for 13 months after it was taken. If you claim a refund of a payment that was legitimately due, we may still pursue the unpaid instalments as a commercial debt.
Refunds outside the 14-day cooling-off period. We do not refund used appointments or partial-month memberships. If we cancel the membership for a serious breach by us (for example we close all studios near you and offer no alternative), we will refund the unused portion fairly. Get in touch and we will sort it.
6. Renewal at the end of 12 months
Your membership does not auto-renew silently. We email you at least 30 days before the end of your term offering you a fresh 12-month membership on the terms in force at that time (which may be the same as these or different).
If you want to renew, you sign a new direct debit mandate or confirm continuation explicitly. If you do nothing, your membership ends at the natural 12-month point and the direct debit mandate is cancelled.
7. Changes to the service during your term
We may make small operational changes – for example to opening hours, studio location, or which therapist provides a treatment – without notice. We will not materially reduce the services included in your membership during the 12 months without offering you an exit and a pro-rata refund. A material change is one we judge a reasonable customer would consider significant.
8. Our responsibilities
We deliver the services described in your membership to a reasonable standard expected of qualified waxing practitioners.
We are not liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when you signed up, or for losses caused by anything outside our reasonable control (for example fire, flood, supplier failure, pandemic, public health closures).
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death, personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or anything else the law says we cannot limit.
9. Your responsibilities
You confirm you are 18 or over.
You agree to give honest, accurate information when you sign up – particularly about medical history, allergies, current medications and pregnancy. We rely on this information to keep you safe. If you withhold material information and are harmed as a result, our liability is reduced or excluded.
You agree to attend appointments on time and in a fit state to receive treatment (sober, in good general health on the day, observing aftercare instructions from previous sessions).
10. Data protection
How we use your personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy. Direct Debit payment data is processed by GoCardless Ltd, whose terms apply to that processing alongside ours.
11. Complaints
If something goes wrong, tell us first at info@plguk.com. We aim to acknowledge within 2 working days and resolve within 14 days. If we cannot resolve it together, you can contact your local Trading Standards office.
12. General
This agreement is governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
If any part of this agreement is found unenforceable, the rest remain in force.
We may transfer our rights and obligations under this agreement to another business (for example as part of a sale of Wax for Women). Your rights under this agreement will not be affected.
You may not transfer your membership to another person without our prior written agreement.
This agreement, the direct-debit mandate you sign, and the booking record of services you selected at signup form the entire agreement between us.
